The objective of this project was to redesign the book cover and pages for the Brothers Grimm’s story The Six Swans. The redesign was meant to mainly utilize typography as the central element of design on the book cover.
The final book cover beautifully represents the story without revealing the plot. Utilizing the typeface and custom graphics, the lowercase ‘s’ in ‘six’ creates the side profile of a swan fluttering its wings. The pages are both subtle, and very readable for the best reading experience.
